A Note from Bob Day

Since its founding in 2018, the Diversity Wine Club's Mission Statement has never actually mentioned the word "wine." Honestly, we could be the Diversity Water Club, and the mission would remain the same.

To us, wine is simply the catalyst - a way to bring strangers into a room so they can leave as best friends. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or a non-drinker, you are welcome here. The focus is entirely on human connection, built upon our four core pillars.

Connect

First and foremost, we are a social club. DWC is a vibrant community where friendships are forged and genuine connections are fostered. We believe that meeting new people should feel natural and welcoming.

Belong

We thrive when everyone feels they have a seat at the table. DWC is a space where you can be your authentic self, find your tribe, and feel a true sense of home within our community. It is about more than just attending an EVENT; it is about knowing you belong.

Sponsors Matter

Because we are dedicated to giving back, guests often ask how we cover our operational costs. The answer is our Business Sponsors. They are the foundation of our club, providing the funding and resources that allow us to focus entirely on our charity partners. Because they invest in us, we invest in them.

Support: We show our loyalty to those who invest in our community by prioritizing their businesses and expertise for our personal and professional needs.

Recommend: We act as ambassadors by sharing our sponsors’ stories and shared values, ensuring our personal networks know the heart behind the brands that support us.

Community Matters

Learn: Each EVENT features a local LGBTQ+ community leader who speaks for 15 minutes about an issue important to our community. We believe learning is how we grow stronger together.

Give Back: Each EVENT benefits a specific CHARITY; we support 5 local LGBTQ+ charities throughout the year. There is NO FUNDRAISING at the EVENT itself - your ticket is your donation. We want you to focus on the connection, knowing the good work is already done.
