A Note from Bob Day

Since I founded Diversity Wine Club (DWC) in 2018, our mission statement has never mentioned the word "wine." While wine is part of our events, our true passion is creating an inclusive space for everyone. We focus on five core pillars:

• Socialize: First and foremost, we are a social club. DWC is a vibrant community where friendships are forged and connections are fostered.

• Partner: This is how we pay our bills and keep the club thriving. We offer businesses a way to reach the local LGBTQ+ community. Our sponsors share our belief in diversity and inclusion while gaining exposure to our members.

• Network: This is about personal growth. We encourage networking to advance your career; we have even seen members find new career paths through people they met at our events.

• Learn: Each gathering features a 15-minute Community Matters talk from a local leader. These are brief insights into our community and are never used for fundraising.

• Give back: We are committed to giving back, hosting 11 fundraising events each year to support local LGBTQ+ charities. We host modern fundraisers where your ticket is your donation—there is no fundraising at the event itself, so that you can leave your checkbook at home.
