Our community needs heroes. Many people in our Hyperlocal community are looking for a true way to step forward, defeat social isolation, and help others thrive.

You have the unique power to be the guide who shapes these life-changing environments. By stepping up, you help our Guests find a beautiful space where they truly belong.

We have a permanent, rolling volunteer team that keeps our community strong. While our program is well-established, we are currently seeking dedicated leaders to help us secure coverage for our upcoming Pride Month Event and beyond.

Keeping Volunteering Easy and Fun

We make making a difference easy, rewarding, and fun. To protect your personal time, your commitment is strictly capped at a maximum of three Events per year.

We set you up for absolute confidence by providing a comprehensive personal homepage on our website and a clear success playbook that outlines your role. You will also receive full initial training, on-the-job training, and constant support.

  • Your Goal: You are the visionary and guardian of the event's mission. You ensure every element aligns with our core values while overseeing the big picture so that every Guest feels the intentionality and heart behind our community. Your coordination duties are seamlessly woven into the evening, requiring only short bursts of active management.

Event Manager

Are you a natural leader? If you manage direct reports at your day job or have experience running real-world events, you are the perfect candidate to take the reins. You will take authority on the ground to coordinate operations and keep the celebration running flawlessly.

  • Perks: 2 comp tickets. You will also receive a permanent promo code for complimentary tickets to invite partners, volunteers, or friends to see the magic firsthand.

  • Shift: Full-Event (plus 1 hour before for setup and 1 hour after for cleanup). Steer the party from the first drink to the final toast! Your coordination duties are seamlessly woven into the evening, requiring only short bursts of active management so you can socialize and enjoy the party.

  • Your Goal: Make sure every event runs smoothly so our Guests can focus on connecting. You are the steady hand behind the scenes, creating a welcoming space and a high-impact experience for everyone.

  • Your Role in the Celebration:

    • The Art of Command: Empower the volunteer team and support the Host so everyone serves with confidence and excellence.

    • Honoring the Moment: Respect the mission by starting the presentation exactly 60 minutes in to ensure a focused, high-energy audience.

    • Curating the Vibe: Own the environment by proactively adjusting lighting, music, and refreshments to keep connection flowing.

    • A Legacy of Gratitude: Leave the Host’s home in pristine condition, ensuring we are always welcomed back.

    • Capturing the Gems: Use the post-event debrief to share your unique perspective and help shape our future successes.

Vibe Lead

Keep our gatherings electric, fun, and fresh! Before the event, you will work with a team of fellow Vibe Leads to brainstorm a single, unique party theme, element, or interactive icebreaker to keep things exciting.

  • Perks: 2 comp tickets.

  • Shift: Pre-event creative planning. During the gathering, you just enjoy the party while keeping a casual eye on the fun factor as your creative vision comes to life.

  • Your Goal: Design the party atmosphere and ensure it is executed properly so each event is unique, memorable, and prompts Guests to talk to their friends about it.

Photographer

Do you love photography and want to practice your skills? We are looking for passionate hobbyists to capture real smiles, laughter, and high-resolution memories of our community connecting. We prefer using actual cameras (DSLR or Mirrorless) rather than smartphones for this role.

  • Perks: 2 comp tickets. You will also receive a permanent promo code for complimentary tickets to invite a fellow creator or friend.

  • Shift: About 2 hours. Your role is built directly into the party's social flow as you move through the crowd. Bonus: Very little post-processing or editing is required after the event!

  • Your Goal: Capture genuine, joyful moments that our Guests are excited to share, providing visual proof of our mission in action.

  • Your Role in the Celebration:

    • The Art of the Candid: Seek out authentic joy and connection by moving unobtrusively to preserve the natural energy of the night.

    • Documenting the Impact: Position yourself to capture the heart of the event, including the 15-minute Community Matters talk.

    • A Vibrant Reflection: Showcase our diversity by balancing wide shots of our beautiful community with detail shots of the space, wine, and food spread.

    • Mindful Boundaries: Lead with respect by staying attuned to guests’ comfort and honoring privacy requests.

    • Preserving the Legacy: Coordinate a seamless digital delivery so your images can share our story with the world.

Check-In Lead

Become the welcoming face of our event operations. If you are comfortable using a simple app on your smartphone, you can handle this role with ease.

  • Perks: 2 comp tickets. You will also receive a permanent promo code for complimentary tickets to invite friends or colleagues who appreciate our mission.

  • Shift: Front-loaded (1 hour before the event and 45 minutes at the start). Once your shift is complete, you are 100% free to enjoy the rest of the night as our guest.

  • Your Goal: Act as the architect of a welcoming environment. By preparing the space and managing a smooth entry, you remove barriers so Guests can focus entirely on connection.

  • Your Role in the Celebration:

    • The Gourmet Presentation: Arrive early to curate an inviting spread of food and refreshments.

    • Digital Excellence: Manage the Welcome Desk with precision to make the digital check-in process feel personal.

    • The Personal Touch: Master the entry flow by greeting every Guest by name so everyone feels seen.

    • The Unity Bridge: Partner with the Greeter to guarantee that no Guest enters without a warm, official welcome.

Supplies Lead

Are you highly organized and great with logistics? This role is the silent engine behind our gatherings, ensuring the team has everything they need to create a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Shift: About 1.5 hours before the day of the party. You do not need to attend the party itself!

  • Your Goal: Manage, pack, and organize the essential physical elements that make our gatherings possible so that no detail is overlooked.

  • Your Role in the Celebration:

    • The Foundation of Excellence: Organize the wine party totes with precision, ensuring every glass, napkin, and sign is in its place.

    • The Standard of Polish: Own the quality control by ensuring every item is clean and professional.

    • Empowering the Onsite Team: Ensure inventory readiness so they can focus entirely on hospitality rather than logistics.

    • Strategic Vigilance: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping the Founder informed of low supplies.

    • The Organized Launchpad: Stage the supply area perfectly so the Event Manager can step into the night with total peace of mind.

Greeter

This is the simplest way to make a massive, unforgettable impact on our Guests. If you love people, your only job is to stand at the threshold, share your warmest smile, and welcome folks to the gathering. You set the tone for the entire night.

  • Status: Fully Staffed

  • Shift: Adaptive on-the-ground support, perfectly balanced with plenty of time to enjoy the wine and the community.

  • Your Goal: Act as the ultimate safety net for our team. By bringing your broad knowledge and adaptive skills to the table, you ensure our team has a helping hand exactly when and where it needs it most.

  • Your Role in the Celebration:

    • The ultimate utility player: Step fluidly into vital support areas on the ground right where the team needs you most.

    • Mastering the big picture: Use your broad knowledge of our event positions to keep the party flowing smoothly without a hitch.

Hosts

Our Hosts are the heartbeat of the evening, opening their homes to provide the beautiful physical backdrops for our gatherings. You simply provide the space and the welcome; our team handles the rest!

  • Perks: 10 comp tickets. You will also receive a permanent promo code for complimentary tickets to invite partners, associates, or neighbors.

  • Shift: Full-Event (Kickoff to Last Call). Enjoy the social atmosphere in your own home while our team orchestrates the evening.

  • Your Goal: Ensure every Guest feels seen, heard, and truly part of the community.

  • Your Role in the Celebration:

    • Privacy & Security: We protect your sanctuary. Your address is never posted publicly and is shared only with registered Guests.

    • Refreshment Delivery: We deliver the gourmet spread and bottled water within a two-hour window starting three hours before the event. Simply pop the perishables into the fridge when they arrive (our driver is already generously tipped).

    • The Host's Surprise: Provide a last-minute culinary highlight or dessert to drive excitement. Bob Day will email the details on his letterhead the day before.

    • The Finishing Touch: The only item we ask you to provide is one large bag of ice to keep the refreshments perfectly chilled.

    • The Seamless Reset: Our team arrives 60 minutes early for setup and stays 60 minutes after for cleanup, leaving your space exactly as we found it.

Charity Partners

Each of our gatherings benefits a dedicated Charity operating ally. As our Charity Partner, you bridge the gap between awareness and action by turning Guests into lifelong advocates.
